Opatija is developing tourism since 19th century. It has many cultural and historical monuments, parks, natural beauties to see. Near Opatija there is a Park of Nature Ucka with over 70 nest birds and even more other birds. There is a lookout from which you can see islands of Kvarner, Istria, mountains of Gorski Kotar, Venice, Italian Alps...
